Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions are here to help our events run smoothly, ensuring a fair and clear partnership between our clients and the Nan & Mo’s Catering team.

1. Booking & Payments

All payments are processed securely through the Clover Go Point of Sale system. Upon booking, you will receive an invoice providing a detailed breakdown of all services and products provided for your event. We accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks. To secure your date and cover initial food costs, a 50% deposit of the total event cost is required 20 days prior to the event. The remaining balance is due in full 10 days before the scheduled event date.

2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations more than 20 days prior: Your deposit will be refunded, minus a 10% administrative fee. Cancellations between 10 and 20 days prior: The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable. Any additional payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded. Cancellations less than 10 days prior: Total payment is forfeited due to costs already incurred and the limited likelihood of rebooking the date. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to c.h.chefglazebrook@gmail.com and must be confirmed by the Nan & Mo’s team. The official date of cancellation is the date the written notification is received.

3. Client Responsibilities

  • Providing an accurate final guest count by the agreed deadline (typically 20 days before the event). This count cannot be decreased after the deadline, though small increases may be accommodated depending on venue capacity and availability.
  • Ensuring clear venue access, including parking, access codes, and entry instructions.
  • Confirming the venue has suitable facilities, including water access, waste disposal, and appropriate power outlets (steam tables require dedicated 20 amp outlets on separate circuits).
  • Obtaining all necessary event permits and licenses.
  • Maintaining a safe environment for our staff and equipment, including notifying us of any site hazards.
  • Adhering to the agreed payment and communication schedule.

4. Allergy & Dietary Needs Policy

Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at least 10 days before your event. While we take extensive precautions to prevent cross-contamination—including dedicated preparation areas and specific purple utensils—our kitchen handles common allergens (nuts, dairy, gluten, soy, shellfish) and cannot be guaranteed 100% allergen-free. Guests with severe allergies should exercise their own judgment and are highly recommended to consult directly with us. We are committed to working with every guest to make the dining experience as safe and enjoyable as possible.

5. Leftover Policy

To ensure food safety and quality, Nan & Mo’s Catering Company LLC follows this policy for leftover food from catered events. Once food has been served, the client assumes full responsibility for any leftovers. We do not pack or provide containers for leftover food due to health and safety regulations, as proper temperature control and storage cannot be guaranteed once food leaves our care. Nan & Mo’s Catering Company LLC is not responsible for any illness or injury resulting from the consumption of leftover food that has not been handled or stored properly by the client after the event. We strongly advise against consuming food that has been left at room temperature for an extended period of time. Any food not taken by the client at the conclusion of the event will be disposed of by our staff to ensure compliance with food safety standards and to prevent waste from being left at the venue.

6. Force Majeure & Governing Law

Unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters or pandemics, may affect event delivery. In such cases, Nan & Mo’s will work with the client in good faith to find a fair solution based on costs already incurred and the feasibility of rescheduling. Nan & Mo’s Catering operates under the governing laws of the State of Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
